The short answer
Cleanpull vs. HubFit comes down to focus versus breadth. Choose HubFit when you want one platform to run training, nutrition, check-ins, habits, resources, and wearables — plus payments, branding, communities, teams, and automation on higher tiers.
Choose Cleanpull when your work is mostly writing and reviewing percentage-based barbell blocks. Build the progression once, and each athlete receives prescribed loads from their own target maxes without the overhead of a wider personal-training and business suite.

The programming difference
HubFit is the more flexible general workout builder. It supports calendar and self-paced programs, alternative exercises, multiple workout formats, configurable tracking fields, exercise history, estimated 1RMs, and a spreadsheet-style periodisation planner.
Cleanpull starts from a different unit: the progression. A coach draws how intensity, sets, and reps change across the block, then reuses that progression across a roster. Each athlete receives working weights from their own target maxes, rounded to a weight their bar can actually make.
If clients need circuits, meal plans, habits, and check-ins beside their workouts, HubFit's breadth matters. If a roster is running variations of the same strength block, Cleanpull requires less repeated prescription work.
How the pricing compares
HubFit's monthly plans start at $39 for Standard with up to 50 clients and $69 for Premium with up to 100. Ultimate starts at $119 for up to 100 clients and rises with client capacity. Annual billing saves two months. Team members are an Ultimate feature.
Cleanpull charges by workspace members rather than clients: $0 for the owner plus 3 others, $15/month or $150/year for up to 30 others, and $100/month or $999/year for up to 500 others. Coaches and athletes both consume a slot; the owner does not, and a pending invitation holds one.
| Solo-coach roster | Cleanpull | HubFit |
|---|---|---|
| 3 clients | $0 | $39/mo · Standard |
| 20 clients | $15/mo · Pro | $39/mo · Standard |
| 50 clients | $100/mo · Studio | $39/mo · Standard |
| 100 clients | $100/mo · Studio | $69/mo · Premium |
| 200 clients | $100/mo · Studio | $209/mo · Ultimate |
There is no universal price winner. Cleanpull costs less for a small barbell roster and again above one hundred clients. HubFit's 50- and 100-client tiers cost less in the middle, while also including much more than programming. A multi-coach comparison changes again because HubFit reserves team access for Ultimate and Cleanpull counts non-owner coaches as members.
Where HubFit is the better choice
- Nutrition and habit coaching are part of the service. Cleanpull has neither.
- You program mixed training styles. Circuits, intervals, AMRAPs, alternative exercises, and a large demonstration library suit general personal training.
- You want the business in one platform. Higher HubFit tiers add client payments, custom branding, onboarding automation, team roles, community, and Zapier.
- Wearable data matters. HubFit's documented integrations and health-data views are broader than Cleanpull's workout-and-body-weight health sync.
- Your roster sits between 31 and 100 clients. For a solo coach, HubFit's Standard or Premium tier costs less than Cleanpull Studio at current list prices.
Where Cleanpull fits better
- A shared strength progression is the product. Change the block once while each athlete keeps individualized targets and working weights.
- Percentage prescriptions should become loadable plates. Cleanpull calculates and rounds working weights for the athlete.
- Completed lifts should arrive in one review flow. The review queue shows the session and its prescriptions before the coach opens the athlete thread.
- You want to start without a trial clock. One owner and three other members fit the permanent Free tier.
- You do not need the all-in-one layer. A focused tool is easier to justify when nutrition, payments, automation, communities, and branded content would go unused.
Things Cleanpull does not have
No nutrition tracker or meal planning, habit coaching, custom check-in forms, client payments, onboarding automation, community feed, challenges, on-demand content library, broad wearable integrations, large exercise-video library, custom branding, Zapier, AI workout generation, or workspace ownership transfer yet. HubFit is the stronger choice whenever those features are central to the coaching offer.
