Powerlifting coaching software
Build squat, bench, and deadlift progressions once, turn them into each lifter's working weights, and review the training that comes back.
Meet prep creates a maintenance job
A powerlifting block may share one structure across a squad, but every working weight depends on the lifter, the lift, and the current max. Add a bench variation, a conservative return-to-training max, or a change halfway through prep and copied sheets begin to separate.
Cleanpull keeps the progression shared and the reference numbers individual. You maintain the block while each lifter receives their own loadable weights.
Build around squat, bench, and deadlift
Give every lift its own progression
Lay out sets, reps, and intensity across the full block. Squat, bench, deadlift, and their variations can follow different weekly curves instead of being forced into one percentage pattern.
Calculate from each lifter's maxes
The same 80% prescription becomes the right working weight for every person assigned to the block. A competition bench and a paused variation can carry separate reference maxes when they need them.
Round to plates the athlete can load
Set the available increment and turn fractional results into weights that exist on the bar. Rounding down by default keeps a heavy day from becoming harder by accident.
Change one athlete without rebuilding the group
Update a max after a test or adjust progress after a missed week. That lifter's remaining sessions move while the rest of the roster keeps its numbers.
Keep heavy days in context
A finished session arrives with the prescribed work, completed reps and loads, and the athlete's check-in. Clips stay in the private thread with the lift and session they came from, giving a remote form check the numbers around it.
The review queue makes it clear which sessions still need attention. Open one, inspect the work, and continue the conversation with that lifter.
Use percentages and effort together
Meet prep rarely runs exactly as written. A percentage gives the week a structure; an effort cap gives the athlete room to stop a planned single from becoming a grinder. The percentages and RPE guide shows a practical hybrid.
For a ready-made starting point, use the eight-week percentage-based training block template and adapt the lift frequency to the athlete.
Where Cleanpull fits
Cleanpull suits independent powerlifting coaches, small teams, and barbell clubs that write multi-week programs and review training between sessions.
It does not manage meet entries, attempt cards, federation memberships, client billing, or nutrition. Coaches who need a full personal-training business suite will need additional tools.
Pricing
Plans are per workspace, and the owner does not consume a member slot.
- Free — the owner plus 3 other members. $0.
- Pro — up to 30 members. $15/month or $150/year.
- Studio — up to 500 members. $100/month or $999/year.
Coaches and athletes both count toward the member limit. A pending invitation holds a slot until it is accepted or revoked, and every workspace carries its own plan. Athletes never pay for a roster spot.
Common questions
Can I program powerlifting variations?
Yes. Add paused, tempo, block, deficit, close-grip, or other variations as separate exercises. Give a variation its own reference max when deriving it from the competition lift would produce the wrong weights.
Can athletes train in pounds while I coach in kilos?
Yes. Units are set per user, so the underlying prescription stays consistent while each person sees the unit they use.
Does it support remote form checks?
Yes. Lifters can send a clip in their private thread with the lift and session context attached. Cleanpull does not provide frame-by-frame drawing, angle measurement, or automated technique analysis.
Can I combine percentages with RPE?
Yes. Use the percentage to plan the load and an effort target or cap to manage the day. Repeated effort ratings also help reveal a stale or inflated reference max.
How much can I try for free?
The free workspace includes the owner plus three other members with no time limit. That is enough to coach a small group through a full block.
