The short answer

TeamBuildr serves institutional strength and conditioning: schools, universities, tactical programs, and facilities. It has reporting, wellness questionnaires, leaderboards, weight-room displays, integrations, and unlimited coaches on every tier.

Cleanpull serves independent coaches and small clubs writing percentage-based barbell blocks. TeamBuildr is the stronger fit when reporting, staff access, and weight-room operations are required.

TeamBuildr includes unlimited coaches

Every TeamBuildr tier includes unlimited coaches. Cleanpull counts coaches against the same member limit as athletes, so a workspace with six coaches and twenty-four athletes fills thirty slots and needs the Pro tier.

A staff-heavy weight room can therefore fit more easily inside TeamBuildr's tiers. Include every coach when calculating Cleanpull capacity so the jump between Pro and Studio does not come as a surprise.

Price at the sizes where both are plausible

SetupCleanpullTeamBuildr
1 coach, 20 athletes$15/mo · $150/yr$90/mo · $900/yr (Silver)
3 coaches, 45 athletes$100/mo · $999/yr (Studio)$90/mo · $900/yr (Silver)
6 coaches, 200 athletes$100/mo · $999/yr (Studio)$150/mo · $1,500/yr (Gold)

The middle row shows the important breakpoint. Once coaches push the workspace past thirty members, Cleanpull moves to Studio and TeamBuildr becomes the cheaper option. At the other two roster shapes, Cleanpull costs less.

Where TeamBuildr is the better choice

  • You answer to an institution. Reporting and compliance exports are not optional in most of those jobs, and Cleanpull has none.
  • Multiple coaches share the roster. Unlimited coaches on every tier is hard to argue with.
  • You run a physical weight room. Display mode and leaderboards are built for groups training together on the floor.
  • You track readiness. Wellness questionnaires are part of the product.
  • Large rosters. Capacity runs to a thousand athletes.

Where Cleanpull fits better

  • You coach alone or nearly alone. The member limit stops being a constraint when coaches are few.
  • Percentage-based blocks are the work. One progression, loads from each athlete's own maxes, prescriptions rounded to loadable weights.
  • Remote athletes. The review queue is built for coaching people you do not see train.
  • You want to start free. Owner plus three members with no time limit.
  • You do not need institutional operations. A smaller product is easier to justify when reporting, leaderboards, and weight-room displays would go unused.

Things Cleanpull does not have

Cleanpull has no reporting or compliance exports, wellness questionnaires, leaderboards, weight-room display mode, integrations, nutrition or scheduling tools, or workspace ownership transfer yet. Coaches also consume member slots. Most institutional weight rooms will need capabilities from that list.

Cleanpull turns one percentage-based block into every athlete's working weights, then keeps the logs and lift videos in one review queue. Every workspace starts free.
