Cleanpull
For weightlifting coaches

Olympic weightlifting coaching software

Write the block in percentages once. Every lifter trains off their own snatch and clean & jerk maxes, logs the session in the app, and their finished work lands in one queue for you to review.

Built for weightlifting programs

General personal-training software often treats barbell work as one item in a much larger exercise library. Coaches end up typing percentages into text fields, calculating loads elsewhere, and keeping current maxes in a separate sheet.

In Cleanpull, sets, reps, and intensity form a percentage progression across the block. Each lifter's working weights come from their current maxes, so the same progression produces the correct load for a 62 kg lifter and a 109 kg lifter.

What it does

Percentage progressions across the classic lifts

Program the snatch, clean & jerk, their variations, and the squats underneath them as shares of each lifter's max. Change one athlete's max and only their remaining sessions move.

Per-athlete loads without per-athlete blocks

Every lifter reads the shared progression through their own maxes. The coach maintains one plan, even as individual loads and maxes change across the roster. More on why copied templates diverge.

Kilograms, properly

Weightlifting runs in kilos and the bar moves in 1 kg increments with 0.5 kg change plates. Units are set per user, so a lifter who thinks in pounds sees pounds while the coach works in kilos.

A review queue for finished sessions

Completed sessions arrive in one queue with their lifts, reps, loads, and effort targets attached. Athletes add clips to the relevant lift, giving the coach the set and session context immediately. Marking a session reviewed leaves you in that athlete's thread.

Maxes and bodyweight tracked together

Current maxes sit on the athlete's profile with their bodyweight history, which matters when someone is moving between categories.

What it does not do

Cleanpull focuses on barbell programming and session review. It leaves the following jobs to other tools:

  • No nutrition or habit coaching.
  • No client billing, invoicing, or scheduling.
  • No large exercise-demonstration video library.
  • No marketplace for selling programs.
  • No leaderboards, wellness questionnaires, or institutional reporting.

If you need those, a broader personal-training platform will serve you better. Cleanpull is for coaches whose main job is writing barbell programs and reviewing what came back.

Percentages behave differently on the classic lifts

Rep-max conventions came out of the powerlifts, where a set ends because the muscles quit. Snatches and cleans end earlier and for a different reason: the bar path degrades and the lift misses while the athlete still has plenty in reserve.

Weightlifting volume therefore tends to concentrate between 70% and 85%, while work above 90% often serves as a technical test. Our 1RM calculator gives the classic lifts their own percentage bands and warns when a rep-max estimate is stretched beyond a useful range.

Pricing

Plans are per workspace, and the owner does not consume a member slot.

  • Free — the owner plus 3 other members. $0.
  • Pro — up to 30 members. $15/month or $150/year.
  • Studio — up to 500 members. $100/month or $999/year.

Coaches and athletes both count toward the member limit, and a pending invitation holds a slot until it is accepted or revoked. If you run more than one workspace, each carries its own plan. Athletes never pay for a roster spot. Paid plans are purchased and managed on the web.

Who it suits

A good fit if you coach weightlifters, write percentage-based blocks, run somewhere between a handful and a few hundred lifters, and currently maintain this in a spreadsheet.

A poor fit if you need nutrition coaching, client billing, scheduling, or institutional reporting in the same tool.

Does it handle snatch and clean & jerk variations?

Yes. Program the classic lifts, their common variations, and the squats and pulls underneath them. Each lift uses its own max, so a hang snatch and a full snatch can carry separate reference numbers.

Can athletes use it on their phone?

Yes. Athletes log sessions in the app and send clips into the thread with their coach. Coaches can work from the app or the web.

What happens when a lifter tests a new max?

Update the max and their remaining sessions in the block recalculate. Nobody else on the same progression is affected.

How does the free tier work?

Every workspace starts free with the owner plus three other members, with no time limit. The owner does not count toward the limit. Add a fourth member and you will need a paid plan for that workspace.

Do you have video analysis tools?

Athletes upload clips into the thread alongside the lift they belong to, and you review them there with the session's numbers to hand. There is no frame-by-frame analysis, angle overlay, or side-by-side comparison.

One block.
Every lifter.
